Old legends get a modern make-over with this clever take on the darker fairy stories. This is a compelling page-turner, very British, but if you like the Sherlock Holmes Series, you will love this. Highly recommended!

Having always had a liking for “other-worldly” themes it was great to be able to read a book which incorporated just those themes in an adult setting. I found the characterisation believable, no silly, soppy heroines or out of character romances. Just a jolly good read!

This is a fantastic read – gripping from the word go, page by page – The Author’s visual description throughout is very stimulating which takes the reader on an enchanting yet at times spine chilling journey – This is so well written this could easily be made into a film.
Whispering Dragon 8 March 2013:
I was told about this book by a friend of the author and I was really pleased. Well written, intelligent, funny {laugh out loud on the bus funny} fabulous imagery and a gripping story. If you like Jasper Fforde or Tom Holt then you should really enjoy this new and imho exciting new writer. Thank you kind lady in TK Max for the recommendation you were right I did love it! :-}

Gripped me from the moment I started reading it would make a great film. Harry Potter for intelligent adults, please read for yourself.

A completely new premise on which to base a novel. Very well written and I look forward to reading (a lot!) more by this author.

Enjoyed it immensely found it hard to put down. Very clever plot combining conspiracy theory, modern day terrorism and ancient celtic history. Interesting character development. I felt as if I knew them personally. Loved it can’t wait for the next book.

I wasn’t sure about this book when I first saw it, but I was persuaded by the very positive reviews it had on Amazon. So I gave it a go. The previous reviewers were right – it was just a superb and thought provoking read. A real different twist to the fantasy genre. I loved the characters and the twists and turn in the plot. The suspense continued to build throughout the story until the final battle against the fairies in the London Underground. It was a fantastic read and if you love fantasies this is a must read.
